Lithuania decides to establish diplomatic relations with Kosovo
Today, on July 16, the government of Lithuania made a decision to start a procedure of establishing diplomatic relations with Kosovo. As a REGNUM correspondent is informed at the government, this decision was stipulated by recognition of Kosovo by the Seimas of Lithuania, which had taken place earlier.
To remiind, the Seimas of Lithuania recognized Kosovo from a second attempt on May 6. During the first vote of the Lithuanian parliamentarians, there were not enough votes for the recognition of Kosovo.
