Another US warship arrives to Georgia
Yet another US warship according to the Radio Freedom, carrying humanitarian cargo has crossed the Turkey's Dardanelle Straits. The vessel is heading towards Bosphorus to enter the Black Sea water zone.
According to Turkish authorities, this is a third US warship that has received permission to pass the Turkish straits towards the Georgian coast for rendering the announced humanitarian help. Turkish authorities are, however, concerned with the possibility that events in the Caucasus could negatively effect their country's economy.
Most likely, the ship is USS Mount Whitney. Aug 27, second US warship Dallas moored in Georgian port of Batumi. Like the first US Navy ship destroyer McFaul, who arrived Aug 24, Dallas moored in the Batumi, not Poti port, as had been supposed earlier. The Georgian side explained the decision by security reasons.
