Medvedev convinces Transdnestr President to resume negotiations with Moldova
President of Russia Dmitry Medvedev and head of Transdnestr Moldovan Republic Igor Smirnov have agreed on resumption of negotiation process on Transdnestr-Moldovan settlement in trilateral format. As the Russian President stated in an interview to Italian RAI TV, Russia is ready to mediate negotiations on the problem. Dmitry Medvedev regards chances to approach resolution of the issue as good, Kremlin's press office informed.
