Read it in Russian

For the first time since the recent military action in South Ossetia, OSCE military observers got a chance to patrol a road leading to Tskhinval from Georgian Karaleti village, OSCE site informs.

OSCE regards this as an important step, since access to the zone was priority to the organization and its international partners. Head of OSCE mission to Georgia Tehri Hakala said that after the recent combat in Georgia, OSCE and its Finnish Chairmanship exerted much effort to deflate tensions between the conflicting sides, it is said in the press release.
