Supply prices in secondary housing market in Moscow increased by 2.4% in a week
According to the results of monitoring conducted by RWAY real estate agency from September 8 to 14, an average price of supply in the secondary housing market of Moscow increased by 2.4% for all classes, due to growing of price for multi-room apartments. In addition, within the week the number of the apartments for sale grew sharply by 40%.
On average, prices of supply for business-class housing (apartments in monolithic and brick houses) grew by 1.6%. Average prices of economy class apartments (apartments in panel and sectional houses) in sellers’ ads did go down by 0.5%.
Within seven days, the price for economy class housing decreased in all districts except the North-Western and Zelenograd. The highest decrease of prices of supply is fixed in the center of Moscow by 2.4%. Business-class apartments were offered cheaper, than a week ago, in the Eastern, Southern, South-Eastern and South-Western districts of the Russian capital, and also in Zelenograd, where sailors reduced the prices on the average by 8.8%. Totally, the prices of business-class housing grew by 3.9% in the Western District of Moscow.
The prices of supply for one-room apartments on the average decreased by 1.1%. Prices for multi-room apartments rose by 2.4%. Prices for two and three-room apartments showed a moderate growth by 1.3%-1.7%.22:53 09/19/2008
