Party of Regions: Yushchenko might sign decree on dissolution of Ukrainian parliament at any time
“The Regions Party believes that early parliamentary elections are absurd like it was last year,” MP, vice-chairman of the Party of Regions parliamentary faction, Alexander Yefremov said to journalists on October 8, a REGNUM correspondent in Kiev reports.
“A popular wisdom says: of those two in dispute responsible is the one who is smarter. We are witnesses to two people arguing in our state and the whole state has been suffering from these debates for four years. But we do not see who is smarter, thus we hope the coming elections will provide an answer to the question,” he noted. Answering the question, when exactly the Ukrainian president would sign the decree on pre-term dissolution of the Ukrainian parliament, Yefremov said that now Victor Yushchenko could sign it at any time. “The procedure is completed. The president held consultations with leaders of factions, and there are no hindrances to sign the decree in respect that a coalition has not been formed in the parliament yet,” he explained.
