Ukraine: Timoshenko is sure parliament will not endorse bills for early elections
Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Timoshenko harshly opposes voting in favor of both an anti-crisis package of bills and a bill related to allocating 0.5 billion of Ukrainian hryvnas for early parliamentary elections. She made the statement at a briefing on October 21, a REGNUM correspondent reports.
According to Timoshenko, money should be sent to pensions, salaries and support of the banking system. Bills related to financing of early elections should be separately put for voting, and I am sure there will not be enough votes for bills on early elections in the Supreme Rada, she concluded.
It is worth mentioning, according to the most recent information, snap elections can be held in Ukraine on December 14.
