Electric power lines connecting Georgia and Russia exploded
On 22 January, at 11:50 a.m. electric power lines connecting Georgian and Russian power systems were blasted in Karachayevo-Cherkessia. During the day, groups of electricians, emergency officers, prosecution officials and officers from the Karachayevo-Cherkes Interior Ministry and Security Service. All the lines were in the highlands, which are difficult to reach, on the 12th kilometer of the Uchkulan-Karachayevsk road, a source in Karachayevsk prosecution told REGNUM.
