Georgian Prime Minister: restoration of gas pipeline is suspiciously long
Georgian Prime Minister Zurab Nogaideli has announced, the time of energy blockade has come to Georgia. In many respects it is inspired by the diversion on the main gas pipeline and suspiciously long-drawn restoration activity in the Russian territory, said Nogaideli. According to him, now Georgia is doing its best to increase electricity supplies from Azerbaijan and Armenia.
Meanwhile, as a REGNUM correspondent was told in the Armenian power engineering ministry, the question of electricity supplies to Georgia from Armenia is not being discussed at the moment. Now, Armenia does not export electricity to Georgia, and it can be discussed only after renewal of gas supplies into the republic, says the ministry.
