Georgian Embassy in Moscow off from electricity and heating
On January 29, several buildings in the center of Moscow, including the Georgian Embassy, were cut off from electricity and heating. Currently, heating and energy supply have been restored on a temporary scheme. At 14:30 (Moscow time), local transformer substation came out of order, because the electricity supply network was damaged.
The Georgian embassy, which is situated nearby, the hotel affiliated, a hospital and several other buildings were cut off from electricity and heating. Emergency repairs have been conducted.
As REGNUM already informed, on January 28 the mayor of Tbilisi ordered to cease gas supply in the Russian Embassy in Tbilisi. The Russian foreign ministry promised to cut off the heating in the Georgian embassy in Moscow as a response.
