Russian foreign ministry: cutting off heating to Georgian embassy in Moscow is an adequate measure
Cutting off from gas the Russian Embassy in Tbilisi is another anti-Russian action, conducted in the time, when Russian specialists in difficult conditions are finishing the repair works on gas pipeline North Caucasus – Transcaucasus, stated on January 29 Spokesman for the Russian Foreign Ministry Mikhail Kamynin. He noted, that all efforts of the Russian diplomats regarding a statement of Tbilisi Mayor Giga Ugulava of January 28 were fruitless, so the Russian side undertook adequate measures according to principle of mutuality in the relations between two countries. As REGNUM already informed, on January 29, the Georgian embassy in Moscow with four affiliated buildings was cut off from electricity and heating.
Kamynin reminded that gas supply of the Russian Embassy in Tbilisi was ceased on January 27, and on the next day Ugulava stated that gas supply to the Russian embassy and to the office of the Gazexport Company were ceased by his decree.
