Estonian Post to issue a stamp in honor of Christine Smigun’s victory
Estonian State Post (Eesti Post) will issue a stamp in honor of skier Christine Smigun’s victory in cross-country ski on February 12, at Winter Olympic Games – 2006. As REGNUM correspondent was informed by Eesti Post on February 13, at the factory there are hopes of fellow countrymen’s victories and it guarantees, that in such every case a memorable stamp will be issued. The issue will be organized after the Olympic Games are over.
It should be reminded, that Christine Smigun won cross-country ski race at 15 km distance on February 12. According to SL Ohtuleht newspaper, Estonian sportsmen can pretend to three more gold in Turin: on February 16, Christine Smigun will compete at 10 km distance, classics, on February 24 – at 30 km distance with mass-start, on February 17, Andres Veerspalu and Yak Mae run 15 km, classics.
