Turin-2006: Russian speed skater Dorofeyev won silver
Russian speed skater Dmitry Dorofeyev has won silver medal in men’s 500 m speedskating. The standard bearer of the Russian team has shown time of 70.41 sec. Joey Cheek (USA) won the gold (69.76 sec), South Korean Lee Kang-seok took the bronze. Dorofeyev won first medal for the Russian speedskaters for the last three Olympic Games.
Dmitry Dorofeyev was born in Moscow Region on November 13, 1976. His height is 193 cm, weight 94 kg. He has been in the combined team since 1997.
