Russia is second in Olympic national teams’ competition
Russia is second in Olympic national teams’ competition in Turin: 4 “gold”, 3 “silver”, 2 “bronze”. Americans are in the lead.
Yesterday, the Russian national team received “bronze” for the men’s cross-country skiing team sprint and “gold” of skater Svetlana Zhurova at 500m distance. It is the first Russia’s Olympic “gold” for skating since 1994. “If I stay here till the end, I will certainly support our ice-hockey players during final – I do not even doubt, they will play final,” believes Zhurova.
