Torino-2006. Russia beats Sweden in curling
Russian women's curling Olympic team, consisting of Ludmila Privivkova, Olga Jarkova, Ekaterina Galkina, Jana Nekrasova and Nkeiruha Ezekh has unexpectedly beaten current World and Europe champions Sweden.
The success of Russian team makes curling more and more popular in Russia. All members of Russian teams are from Moscow. As REGNUM already informed, member of Russian team with exotic name Nkeiruha Ezekh was born in Chuvashiya, Russia. Her mother was Russian resident, and her father came from Nigeria to study in Russia.
The victory of young and progressing Russian team in the match with such decorated opponent is a clear success, but it still can miss quarter-final of the Olympics.
