Bird flu rages by poultry (Azerbaijan)
Bird flu virus is discovered at a poultry farm in Kilyasi village near the Azerbaijani capital, informed state commission on combating the virus. Poultry tests were taken on February 22.
The whole farm’s territory and surrounding zone are placed in quarantine. All birds are killed and burnt. The State Veterinary Service of Agricultural Ministry warned once more the country’s population against contacts of poultry with wild birds. People are appealed to turn at once to appropriate service, if they find dead poultry.
