Kaliningrad Muslims condemn Ben Laden image in advertisement
Kaliningrad Muslim community council condemned advertisement in Delovoy Baltiysk newspaper (Business Baltiysk), where terrorist #1 Usama Ben Laden advertises election campaign ads. As a REGNUM correspondent was informed on February 28 by member of the council Khakim Bikteev, this man harmed Muslims most in the world, so we condemn any his appearance in mass media, especially in advertising purpose.
Head of Kaliningrad Regional Prosecution Department controlling observation of the federal legislation Yuri Safronov commented the situation to a REGNUM correspondent. He advised all, who are hurt by this advertisement to address Baltiysk city prosecution (where the newspaper’s editorial office is situated), because if this publication violates the Russian Constitution or other norms of Russian legislation, the prosecution will react.
In his turn member of Kaliningrad regional parliament Solomon Ginzburg told REGNUM that this terrorism advertisement on the verge, and that every moral citizen would not use Ben Laden in advertisement measures, concluded the MP.
As REGNUM earlier informed, Kaliningrad weekly Delovoy Baltiysk published on its sixth page a portrait of Ben Laden allegedly saying: Oh, Allah, if I had known that printing leaflets and posters is so cheap, I would have filled up the whole America with them – swear to God!. It was an uncommon ad offering printing of leaflets at elections to the local legislative body.
