Bird flu found in Azerbaijani battery farms

Bird flu has been discovered in Azerbaijan at a battery farm near Baku and at one of the farms in the southwest of the country.

Tests results confirmed that poultry at the battery farm is infected with H5N1, that represent threat to human. Already, half a million birds were killed. According to Azerbaijan’s government, the work with residents is insufficient: recommendation on keeping poultry in enclosed space to prevent contact with wild birds is violated, informs Echo of Moscow.
