Bird hunting to be forbidden completely
In Russia in 2006, bird hunting will be forbidden completely. According to Russian Chief State Sanitary Inspector Gennady Onishchenko, nevertheless, we will forbid hunting, and whole interaction between people and birds will consists of bird scaring from human settlements and poultry farms. He stated it at DDD-2006 Sanitary and Hygiene Forum.
Bird flu is already registered in 9 regions of country. However, specialists believe, H5N1 virus will extend broader, as birds will return from southern countries.
