Representative of Tajik social-democrats: Tajikistan must not follow Byelorussian way of presidential elections
There could be no other result of presidential elections in Byelorussia, because there, just like in most of other CIS countries, free press and real multi-party system do not exist, said Deputy Chairman of the Social-Democratic Party of Tajikistan Shokirijon Khakimov. He added that non-ideal electoral legislation in Byelorussia is also actively violated. He added that Lukashenko victory was also provided by support of leading specialists in political technologies, including electoral, and support of the Russian state-owned mass media. Khakimov concluded, that no one can call elections in Byelorussia democratic. Tajikistan must not follow Byelorussian way of presidential elections organization and conduction.
