South Ossetia brings Russia to 1774. Georgia keeps silent

There has been no reaction from Georgia to the statement made by the South Ossetian president, reports NTV. As REGNUM earlier reported, South Ossetia intends to seek pronouncing it as a part of Russia, leader of the self-proclaimed republic Eduard Kokoity said. He plans to use a document of 1774 for joining Russia. A joint session of the North and South Ossetian governments is being held today in Vladikavkaz. 95 citizens of the republic have Russian passports up to the present day.
