There is people’s movement along Nezalezhnosti Avenue from House of Government Metro station till Oktyabrskaya Metro station within 3-4 blocks of buildings. About 2,000 servicemen of police Special Forces are guarding the square itself, not permitting people to enter it. As a REGNUM correspondent informs, clashes between opposition supporters and police began. An additional police Special Forces troop of 1,500 servicemen arrived to strengthen available forces.
Metro stations are closed. People, leaving metro, are not allowed to come to streets. The whole city transport is moving non-stop along Nezalezhnost Avenue. Cars signal, driving by.
As the REGNUM correspondent reports, 5 special cars were seen across House of government. On March 24, the same cars brought away people during meeting disruption in Oktaybrskaya Square.
