Criminal procedures on two charges started against Byelorussian presidential contender
Criminal procedures on two charges have been started against ex-contender at presidential elections in Byelorussia Alexander Kozulin. The charges include repeated hooliganism and staging group actions, breaching peace, or active participation in them, a REGNUM correspondent was told by Head of Information and Press Relations Unit of the Interior Department of Minsk City Administration Oleg Slepchenko. He also noted that at present moment the prosecution is seeking for lawful assessment of actions by all the participants of the March 25 events.
Till the trial Kozulin will be held in custody in the city of Zhodino, Kozulin’s spokeswoman Nina Shidlovskaya told REGNUM. Shidlovskaya noted that Kozulin’s is intricate. We are led by the nose, she explained.
