Elected president of Byelorussia is missing: inauguration delayed
Inauguration of President of Byelorussia has been delayed to the second half of April, informed Secretary of the Republican Central Electoral Committee of Byelorussia Nikolai Lozovik on March 28. It was said that previous date of inauguration, March 31, was a preliminary date, that was not agreed with the presidential administration and his agenda. According to the current electoral legislation, newly elected president of Byelorussia must come into power two months after elections.
The presidential elections in Byelorussia took place on March 19. Lukashenko won the elections, but for last eight days he has not appeared in public, so people do not know, where is he and what has happened to him, informs Ekho of Moskvy. He was seen at a news conference in Minsk on March 20. After it, he has not participated in any public event. He also failed to answer officially to congratulations because of his victory.
