Alexander Lukashenko thanked leaders of foreign countries and public officials
Byelorussian leader Alexander Lukashenko has sent testimonial letters to leaders of foreign states and public officials, who congratulated him with re-election as President of Byelorussia, a REGNUM correspondent was told in Lukashenko’s press office. In particular, the letters have been sent to Russian President Vladimir Putin, Russia’s First President Boris Yeltsin, Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Alexius II, Chairman of the Chinese People’s Republic Hu Jintao, as well as leaders of CIS member states and other countries.
