EU to approve "black list "of Byelorussian officials
Ministers of 25 EU member states who gathered in Luxemburg for session of EU Council are going to decide on sanctions against Byelorussia. In particular, they are going to approve a list of 30 top-level Byelorussian officials including Alexander Lukashenko who thus will be forbidden to enter EU territory for a year.
According to EU and OSCE, recent Byelorussian presidential elections did not conform to international democratic norms. The EU rejected the idea to apply economic sanctions against Byelorussia, as well as to block Byelorussian leaders’ accounts at European banks, offered by Poland, RSN informs.
