Council of Federation approved Russian Prosecutor-General’s resignation
On June 2, Russian Federation Council approved resignation of Russia’s Prosecutor-General Vladimir Ustinov, a REGNUM correspondent informs. As Federation Council Speaker Sergey Mironov informed at the beginning of the session, Russian president’s request to relieve Ustinov of his post was received recently.
The question was put on the agenda, 140 senators voted for dismissal; two of them abstained from voting.
