Belarusian foreign ministry forms list of non-grata politicians on the principle of symmetry
Spokesman for the Belarusian Foreign Ministry Andrei Popov has confirmed information that there is a so-called blacklist of European and US politicians forbid from the country. The measures are taken in response to actions by the EU, the USA and some other countries and are based on the principle of symmetry, Popov is quoted as saying by a REGNUM correspondent. Popov noted that the Belarusian party prepared a list of officials, who are subjected to restrictions for entry into the country. The list includes officials from the EU member-countries, the USA and other countries that officially joined restricting measures towards Belarus.
The list includes the most notorious politicians and officials, who systematically showed themselves as biased towards our country, who deliberately impose a distorted view of political and economic situation in the republic, Popov is quoted as saying. The list also includes persons, who attempted to interfere into internal affairs of Belarus as a sovereign state, who called for imposing wide sanctions against the republic during the presidential elections.
