Black list of EU and US officials in Belarus is classified
Belarus has blacklisted a number of EU and US officials. Spokesman for the Belarusian Foreign Ministry Andrei Popov announced at a briefing that some limits were imposed against EU and US officials entering the country. According to him, the action is a response of the Belarusian side to limits for entry of Belarusian officials to EU countries. The measure is in force for officials of the EU member-countries, the USA and other countries that supported them in their attempt to put limits on movement of officials from Belarus. Names of persons in the black list will not be announced.
As the Belarusian Foreign Ministry reports, the action is a response to sanctions imposed against more than 30 Belarusian officials who are forbid from the USA and EU member-countries, Radio Liberty reports. It is worth reminding, after the presidential elections in Belarus the USA and the EU accused Minsk of rigging the elections and vowed to call off the outcome.
