Kasyanov expecting constructive criticism of Russia at G8 summit
I would like that the Russian party was in diplomatic and respectful form criticized by heads of European states, Russian ex-Prime Minister Mikhail Kasyanov stated on June 21 at a press conference in St. Petersburg; a REGNUM correspondent informed. Mr. Kasyanov explained that he expected not even criticism, but constructive comments concerning the fact that anti-democratic things are happening in Russia.
We are a normal democratic state; however, some disturbing processes are developing, he Kasyanov said. One should not say that our people are not ready for democracy – it is not an explanation, it is nonsense.
