Read it in Russian

Later on July 12, Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili departed for Turkey to participate in Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil pipeline opening ceremony. As a REGNUM correspondent was informed at Georgian State Chancellery, bilateral meetings of the Georgian leader with the Turkish president and prime minister are planned during his two-day visit.

It is worth mentioning that the Georgian delegation is expected to conduct talks on additional purchasing of natural gas from Azerbaijani Shah-Deniz gas field, which will be transported via Baku-Tbilisi-Erzerum gas pipeline, to be put into operation this fall.
