Putin: Russia has to develop economic ties with India and China
Political interaction of Russia with India and China is now more effective than the economic one, President of Russia Vladimir Putin stated on July 16 at a news briefing in Strelnya, St. Petersburg in the framework of G8 summit, REGNUM correspondent reported.
In the nearest future, Putin counts on developing Russia’s economic relations with India and China. We have great perspectives of economic relations, he stated.
The G8 summit convened in St. Petersburg on July 15. In the coming days, leaders of Russia, USA, Japan, Great Britain, Germany, Italy, France, and Canada, as well as the Chairman of the European Commission Jose Manuel Barroso and heads of invited states will hold a number of sessions and bilateral meetings.
