Vladimir Putin: Russia reached its goals at G8 summit
The Russian delegation is satisfied with the results. All the aims are achieved. All the documents planned for adoption have been adopted almost without changes, Russian President Vladimir Putin is quoted as saying at a briefing in Strelna in the framework of the G8 summit by a REGNUM correspondent. Putin noted that an extra document was adopted on the situation in Middle East with assessment and proposals what should be done in the near future. The initiative of adopting the document came from Russia as well, Putin noted.
