Russian president: It is too early to speak about sanctions against Iran
It is too early to speak about political or economic sanctions against Iran, Russian President Vladimir Putin believes. As a REGNUM correspondent reports, Putin made the statement at a news conference on results of the G8 summit in St. Petersburg. He is quoted as saying that the time, which was proposed by the Iranian leadership and within which a compromise was supposed to be reached, is already up. According to the Russian president, talks of leaders of main world powers with Iran are planned for August. “We ground on the fact that talks will start,” Putin said.
