Bush and Blair’s chat caught on open microphone at G8 meeting
According to ISRAland web-site, as a result of a regrettable, of course except for the press, accident, private chat of US President George Bush and UK Prime Minister Tony Blair was caught on open microphone at the St. Petersburg G8 summit.
While G8 leaders were having lunch, a mike accidentally remained switched on. The US president told the British prime minister (it turned out to be recorded) that Syria should press Hezbollah in order it stops doing this shit.
Additionally, Bush informed Blair that US State Secretary Condoleezza Rice (he unceremoniously called her Condi) was going to the Middle East; Blair responded to the news if she goes out, she’s got to succeed. He agreed that conflict escalation in the Middle East was the most important question, mentioning that settlement of the escalation of tension would take time.
Also, both leaders discussed Blair’s proposal to send international forces into conflict zone.
At the moment, when Blair remarked that the mike was on and switched it off, the talk was recorded by reporter teams of various TV-channels.
