Turkey to earn more than $200mln thanks to BTC oil pipeline
26 tankers with Azerbaijani oil pushed off from the Heydar Aliyev Terminal since June 2, 2006, when Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil pipeline was put into operation. As Trend Agency informs, referring to Turkish mass media, Turkey has already received revenues worth $6.5mln in exchange for already sent 18mln barrels of oil. The money has already got on account of the Botas International Limited Company. Turkish income from the BTC will total $120mln in 2007. If taxes are included into the figures, general index will exceed $200mln. Also, it is reported that the Turkish side will receive $1.5bln worth 6% share of the BTC.
