Observer from Kosovo: Situations in Kosovo and Transdnestr are practically identical
Radio Kosova Editor-in-Chief, international observer Kurtesh Devaja has noted in an interview to a REGNUM correspondent that the only difference between Kosovo and Transdnestr is in mono-ethnic nature of the former and multi-ethnic nature of the latter. In all the rest things he sees only similarities: both Kosovo and Transdnestr are economically independent territories; both people speak for political independence.
Irrespectively how the international community takes the Transdnestr referendum, after the y people have their say, everybody will have to take it into account. The international community should respect people’s will, the Kosovo journalist believes.
