Contradictions of Transdnestr and Ukrainian interests produced by orange regime – Ukraine’s Supreme Rada deputy
Deputy of the Supreme Rada of Ukraine, deputy chairman of the committee on culture and spirituality Yuri Boldyrev said at a press conference in Tiraspol September 17 that different questions could be put to referendum in Transdnestr.
The absence of a question on relations with Ukraine is not included in the list due to the policies of Ukrainian president Yushchenko and minister of foreign affairs Tarasyuk. The orange regime’s coming to power in Ukraine has drastically changed the country’s foreign policy course.
Our authorities now closely cooperate with the west. The drastic confrontation of interests of Transdnestr and Ukraine, imposing an economic blockade, and blocking Transdnestr railway are outcomes of the orange regime of Yushchenko and Tarasyuk, says Boldyrev.
