“Russia is not adequately active” – Head of Abkhazian FM on arrest of Russian army officers
Georgia is acting consistently and purposefully, pushing Russian out of the region. It is not only Georgian but also geopolitical project in which Georgia plays a certain role, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Abkhazia Sergey Shamba commented to REGNUM on arrest of Russian army officers.
Nevertheless, all political collisions between Georgia and Russia are solved basically in favor of Georgia. “Russia does not react actively enough, of which the accusation of Russian military of espionage is an evidence,” Abkhazian foreign ministry head maintains. He says it is exactly the passive actions of Russia that lead to Georgia’s becoming more aggressive in pursuing her policies. “This has finally to be adequately assessed,” Sergey Shamba concluded.
