State Duma to issue statement on arrest of Russian officers in Georgia
On September 29, Head of State Duma Committee on International Affairs Konstantin Kosachev informed at a press conference of the further action of the Russian State Duma in view of the aggravation of Russian-Georgian relations, REGNUM correspondent informs. In particular, he stated he was quite sure that the State Duma will soon make public its position on the situation: “I believe we will be ready to discuss the problem at the coming plenary session of the Russian State Duma. I do not rule out that the Duma will make a separate statement. We will discuss the issue on Monday.”
