84 Russian military and family members evacuated to Moscow from Tbilisi
Second group of Russian citizens evacuated from Georgia by Russian EMERCOM Il-76 plane arrived in Moscow. The plane landed at about 07:00 p.m. Moscow time at Ramenskoye airdrome near Moscow. 25 Russians – family members of the Russian Group of Forces in Transcaucasus – were brought by this special flight from Georgia. The first Il-76 plane arrived in Ramenskoye one hour earlier. Overall, 84 persons have already been transported to Moscow. Russian Ambassador to Georgia Vyacheslav Kovalenko, who was summoned to Moscow for consultations, as well as Russian EMERCOM’s Director of International Cooperation Department Yuri Brazhnikov were among the passengers. There are many women and children among the Russian citizens evacuated from Georgia, ITAR-TASS informs.
