Read it in Russian

Georgian Minister of Defense Irakli Okruashvili commented to journalists on the introduction of the new regulations of Russian military transit through the territory of Georgia to the Russian military base 102 located in Giumri, Armenia. “If they in Moscow think of complicating life to the Georgian population, they should also think that we also have similar leverage,” REGNUM correspondent quotes the minister to warn.

“Our setting new rules does not imply a full ban of movement,” Okruashvili detailed. “However, in what regards the threats to our citizens – sources of atomic energy, explosives, and other dangerous substances – over moving them we are going to set a special control.”
