Investigation supposedly knows who killed Politkovskaya

Video record of cameras installed on the apartment blocks where Anna Politkovskaya, Russian journalist killed on Saturday, lived is main evidence in the investigation of her assassination. The investigation has managed to reveal that a tall lean man wearing a dark jacket and a baseball cap entered the apartment blocks in Lesnaya Street (Moscow). A minute later the camera taped the man coming out. As NTV reports, a special operation is introduced in Moscow. The man recorded on the tape is wanted by police. He is the supposed killer of Anna Politkovskaya.

At present time search operation has continued. As REGNUM reported before, the journalist was killed on October 7, when she was coming home from a shop. Her body was found at 04:25 p.m. in the elevator of her house.
