In this connection, Mrs. Chigoyeva-Tsaboshvili held consultations with all interested parts; besides that, she hopes to receive support of Russian democratic forces.

Explaining some items of her election program, Chgoeyev-Tshabashvili pointed, in particular, to strengthening institute of international security guarantees, struggling against criminality, cooperation with Georgian and Russian law-enforcement institutions’ representatives, settling problem of armed groupings in South Ossetia, the region’s economic rehabilitation, settling problems of refugees, citizenship and determining South Ossetia’s political-legal status.

According to her, difference between her and current South Ossetian President Eduard Kokoity is that “Kokoity proposes Ossetian people war and instability,” and she advocates “peace, stability, and creation.”
