EU leadership calls for thorough probe of Politkovskaya’s murder
Finland, which is now EU Chair, has made a statement concerning assassination of Russian reporter Anna Politkovskaya. As the statement runs quoted by RSN, the EU leadership learned about the assassination with grieve and it calls for a thorough investigation of this awful crime and delivering the criminal to hand of justice.
As REGNUM reported before, Anna Politkovskaya was killed at entrance to her house on October 7. The killer, according to the investigation, was a young tall man wearing dark clothes.
