Moscow says its last farewell to Anna Politkovskaya in the rain
A farewell ceremony on slain Novaya Gazeta columnist Anna Politkovskaya is being held at Troekurovo Cemetery in Moscow. About 400 persons have already come here, mostly common people, however, ambassadors of Sweden and Norway to Russia have been spotted there, RSN reports. There are a lot of reporters at the farewell hall of the cemetery, many Western cameramen and photographers. People are coming in an endless flow by cars or by foot. It has started raining. International TV-companies are broadcasting the ceremony live, Ekho Moskvy reports.
