Germany will grant Georgia comprehensive help, although it will make no open statements in this regard, head of German Bundestag Norbert Lammert said upon meeting with the speaker of Georgian parliament Nino Burjanadze. According to REGNUM correspondent, Lammert says that he confirms his support of Georgia and emphasizes that Germany was one of the first to recognize independence of Georgia. Norbert Lammert also informed that he received from Nino Burjanadze detailed information on the situation in the Georgian-Russian relations and will communicate it to his country’s government.
