There is no final decision on orange ministers yet (Ukraine)
Ministers of the Ukrainian government appointed under quota of Our Ukraine will resign not earlier than the talks on forming the national unity coalition are finished. Ukraine’s Minister for Family, Youth and Sports Yuri Pavlenko told reporters on October 11, a REGNUM correspondent reports.
At the same time, Pavlenko informed that on October 10 all the orange ministers made a collective decision to leave the government in case Our Ukraine finally goes to opposition. According to him, in this case politicians who entered the government under the presidential quota (Foreign Minister Boris Tarasyuk and Defense Minister Anatoly Gritsenko) will also leave the government. It will be either all or nobody, Pavlenko stressed.
As REGNUM reported before, on October 4 head of Our Ukraine faction at the Supreme Rada Roman Bessmertny said that his political force was leaving the coalition talks, going to opposition and recalling its ministers from the government. However, later prime minister Yanukovich and President Viktor Yushchenko spoke for continuation of the negotiation process on establishing an extended coalition with participation of the orange faction.
