Abkhazia’s Vice President: For the first time ever, the UN voiced a strong position on Georgia’s action
“It is for the first time ever that the UNSC voiced a strong position on the action of Georgia’s authorities. The resolution should facilitate the withdrawal of Georgia’s armed groups from the upper Kodori Gorge and bring the situation in compliance with the Moscow agreement on ceasefire,” Vice President of Abkhazia Raul Khajimba commented on the adoption of the UNSC resolution on Georgia. “It will also help to alleviate tensions in the region,” the Abkhazian official said.
