Putin: Actions taken to find masterminds of Politkovskaya’s murder
Police are taking all necessary actions to find masterminds and executors of murder of Russian reporter Anna Politkovskaya and bring them to court, Russian President Vladimir Putin is quoted as saying at a summit of European leaders in Lahti.
At the meeting, Putin answered reporters’ questions about Politkovskaya’s murder investigation and gave a positive assessment of the Russian-Georgian relations. The president presented his detailed view of the current situation in the bilateral relations with Russia and Georgia and described Moscow’s position. Besides, speaking on Politkovskaya’s murder, Putin condemned the killers and masterminds, Rossiya TV-Channel reports.
